Downside Primary is full engaged with School Games programme. In 2023-2024 the school had:

•  441 children particpate in a sporting event,
• attended 38 events including
  • 13 festivals, 
  • 11 competitions,
  • 11 league games and
  • 3 County finals

As a school we also hosted and ran 2 festivals for schools in Luton and the Zone Sports Athletics competition.  All of the children in Year 6 and 1 Year 5 classes were given the opportunity to develop their leadership skills.
