Online Safety
Our pupils are growing up in a world of ever-changing technology.
While we believe technology is a positive part of modern life, we also recognise the risks that come with it.
Online Safety is taught through PSHE and Computing. Pupils learn about the filters and safeguards in school and how their experience online at home may differ. We also make them aware of artificial intelligence (AI) and encourage them to be mindful that some online content may be created or influenced by it. Lessons also cover recognising misinformation, disinformation, and conspiracy theories from any source.
Below are useful websites, advice, and resources to support you in keeping your child safe online.
